Belu have launched the UK's first compostable bottle of water utilising our Biotak™ labels. An environmental initiative which contributes 100% of its net profits to clean water projects.
The revolutionary bottle made from 100% corn, complimented with our 100% biodegradable label can be commercially composted back to soil in 12 weeks, roughly a million years faster than traditional plastics.
Launched in Waitrose and Asda, Reed Paget, MD of Belu states "this is new innovation and we are still early on in the journey but hope it will kick start the market and consumers will say 'we really like this idea' and encourage bigger companies".
